Malbork Castle siege

On the 17th of July will take place the "castle siege" in Malbork. The open air festival is referring to the historical facts connected with besiegeing of the castle by the Poland-Lithuania army in 1410, which won the Grunwald battle on the 15th of 1410.

A young man run away from the drunk-pound in Szczecin to drink something more. The 31 years old man fetched up in the drunk-pound after a robbery. The breatanalyzer indicated a blood-alcohol content of 2 promilles. After he got sober he decided to run away in order to drink more.

Time of knight's tournament and battle

They will recreate the battle which took place on the 10th of October 1410, a few months after the Grunwald battle. In Sandomierz will take place the XII Knight's Tournamnet for the sword of Zawisza the Black of Grabow. The main part of this year's programm is planned on sunday. It will start with the king Wladyslaw Jagiello's entrance to the Old Town.
