The wave of reprivatization threatens Poland

A wave of reprivatization petition is threatening us. On Thursday, the bill, under which almost 300 thousand former owners has signed, is heading to the government. They are demanding the return of the property worth 85 billion zloty.

Sopot rent half of the 4.5-kilometre beach to private owners. Now one need to pay for sunbathing. Two kilometers of Sopot’s sand is in private hands - the owners of catering premises and night clubs.
