Until 2011 our country is going to get rid of a whole trades, including few strategical. The government will also sell part of the shares in power industry and such financial giants as PZU and PKO BP. Pharmaceutical, chemical, tourist, shipbuilding, electronic and food industry are coming under the hammer.

Poland – together with Germany and Spain – is one of three main “deliverers” of quicksilver in European Union. All this because of obsolete power plants, which are heated by coal, as well as cement mills and – to some degree – chemical industry. We emit 20 tons of quicksilver dust a year.
