Study Tour III –Discovering Eastern Mazovia- Siedlce

On the 25th of September took place the third Study Tour organized by the Mazovia Development Agency. Mazovia voivodship is the biggest centre of social and economic growth in Poland. Siedlce is a city from which everything has begun. Honourable patronage over the event took: Marshal of Masovia Voivodship, Voivodship Governor of Mazovia and chairman of Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.

Wladyslaw Bartoszewski received on sunday an award "Glass of reason" given to him on march this year by the civil community of Kassel in Hesja for spreading values of the Enlightment, reason and tolerance.

25th anniversary of the Nobel Prize for Walesa

On 5th of October 1983 the Nobel Committee awarded Lech Walesa with the Nobel Peace Prize. His wife, Danuta, together with his son, Bogdan received the honorable mention during the gala in Oslo on 10th of December. This year, passes 25th anniversary of these events.
