Polish movies in Los Angeles

In Los Angeles starts the 9th Polish Movie Festival. It is one of the most important events promoting Polish culture. Danuta Szaflarska, Agnieszka Grochowska, Danuta Stenka, Artur Zmijewski and Tomasz Kot will take part in it.

Film festival in Wroclaw

460 films will fill the programme of the eighth Era New Horizons (Era Nowe Horyzonty) festival , which will take place in Wroclaw from 17th till 27th July . The most important part of this event is the “New Horizons” competition.

The best director is Andrzej Jakimowski, creator of “Sztuczki” has to admit primacy of “Katyń” in category of the best movie of the year. It is not only one award for the movie of Andrzej Wajda on the Eagles 2008 ceremony. Together there were seven of them.
