Works over Baltic Arena has begun

Today the representatives of UEFA are to judge the state of preparation for Euro 2012. Yesterday the excavators and bulldozers pulled into the ground in Letnica (Gdańsk) where previously the city allotments were located. In this place the Baltic Arena is to be created, one of the three stadiums planned for European Championship for national football teams organized by Poland and Ukraine.

Dariusz Wdowczyk arrested

Dariusz Wdowczyk has been arrested by CBA. Dariusz Wdowczyk was of many years standing representative of Poland in football, well known coach (twice champion of Poland) and currently a second-league football trainer of Polonia Warsaw.

Michel Platini about Euro 2012

Michel Platini, the president of UEFA, admitted during the interwiew, which was published on Friday in daily "La Repubblica", that he is not sure if Poland and Ukraine are going to cope with the organization of Euro 2012.

Inaugural session of Committee Organizing Euro 2012

Committee Organizing European Championships in Football EURO 2012 gathered in Warsaw on Tuesday on inaugural session. Donald Tusk preside over a meeting. He declared that for Polish-Ukrainian event he is available 24 hours a day.
