A wave of reprivatization petition is threatening us. On Thursday, the bill, under which almost 300 thousand former owners has signed, is heading to the government. They are demanding the return of the property worth 85 billion zloty.

Szymany, a small town on Mazury, was one of the most important base of secret Central Intelligence Agency. Here, in 2002, leaders of the Al-Qaida terrorist organization, among them Chalid Sheikh Mohammed, one of the "brains" of the attacks in New York, 2001, were detained and tortured.

Sopot rent half of the 4.5-kilometre beach to private owners. Now one need to pay for sunbathing. Two kilometers of Sopot’s sand is in private hands - the owners of catering premises and night clubs.

In the whole Poland sellouts were begun in the clothes shops of the most popular west brands like Zara, H&M, C&A. At the beginning the discounts mostly amount to 30 percent but in some shops part of the products can be bought for half or one third price.
